Job summary

CommonSpirit is seeking an Air Medical Communication Specialist to dispatch all transport activity and serve as the main communicator for the Flight For Life program, ensuring staff are informed of all activity and requests.

You will maintain the Flight For Life database, coordinate transfer center activity, and demonstrate calm, precise communication under pressure to ensure patient safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a healthcare-related field with at least 2 years of management experience.
• IAMTCS CFC Course must be completed within 18 months of employment.
• HS/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch all air medical transport activity.
• Serve as the primary communicator for the Flight For Life program.
• Maintain the Flight For Life database and coordinate transfer center activity.
• Manage urgent communications and ensure accurate information dissemination.
