Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks an experienced C/C++ developer to design, test, and integrate flight deck and flight management software. You will work on architecture, requirements, and certification activities, ensuring high-quality solutions for internal and external customers.

The role involves hands-on development, integration on test rigs, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• At least 3–5 years of strong C software programming and application development experience.
• Proficiency in C and Python; testing, integration and debugging experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and integrate flight deck and flight management software.
• Provide high quality solutions to internal and external customers.
• Work in scope planning, architecture, design, requirements, implementation, integration, testing and certification.
• Master technical aspects of flight deck applications and contribute to development.
• Build, deliver and integrate software on test fixtures for various aircraft types.
