Job summary

ZP Connect is seeking a Sign Language Interpreter for flexible 12-hour-a-week shifts, providing high-quality American Sign Language interpretation through video, in a call center or on-site at client locations. Candidates must be fluent in ASL and English, with solid interpretation skills and knowledge of Deaf culture.

Interpreters follow NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct and may participate in Telehealth benefits, training, and scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required
• Accurate interpretation skills
• Understanding of Deaf culture and NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
• Three to five years of interpreting experience preferred
• State licensure or credentials where applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality American Sign Language interpreting via video and on-site
• Support and model the company’s mission and values
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism
• Adhere to policies and FCC regulations and be punctual
• Travel independently as needed to interpret at locations
• Maintain accurate records and meet performance expectations
