Job summary

ZP Connect is seeking a Sign Language Interpreter for Flex 12, averaging 12 hours per week, to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpretation via video or on-site at client locations. Must exhibit fluent ASL, strong English, and adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills are required for accurate interpretation.
• Understanding of Deaf culture and NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct is essential.
• 3–5 years of interpreting experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality video relay service (VRS), video remote interpreting (VRI), and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values while delivering excellent customer service.
• Maintain professional conduct, punctuality, and accurate record keeping across shifts and locations.
• Adapt to new technologies and balance multiple interpretation tasks, including telehealth and on-site assignments.
