Job summary

ZP Connect is seeking a Sign Language Interpreter to join the FLEX 12 program, delivering high quality American Sign Language interpretation through video relay, video remote interpreting, and on-site at client locations. The candidate must be fluent in ASL and spoken English, provide accurate interpretation, understand Deaf culture, and adhere to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Travel to assignments may be required.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Able to provide accurate interpretation.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• 3–5 years interpreting experience preferred.
• State licensure or credentials as applicable.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and respect.
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts and accurate record-keeping.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and FCC regulations.
