Copper Ridge Nursing and Assisted Living Center is seeking an energetic Business Office Manager to lead the revenue cycle in our skilled nursing facility. The role requires coordinating with other departments and ensuring accurate census entries, admissions processes, and financial responsibilities for residents.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and possesses strong communication and math skills, with experience in payers and eligibility for LTC, Medicaid, and Medicare reimbursement.

Qualifications

• The ability to be assertive with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of LTC/Skilled Nursing Home payers and eligibility.
• Understanding of Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement and patient liability.
• Ability to deal tactfully and professionally with residents and families.
• Proficiency in PC/Excel/Word along with basic math abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the facility's revenue cycle as a department head.
• Maintain accurate census and resident payer source hierarchies.
• Understand admission documentation and resident file requirements.
• Assist residents with Medicaid/Medicare applications and denials.
• Manage collections, prepayments, and escalation procedures.
• Process daily deposits and resident trust activity.
