Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader for our Norfolk, VA store at 4314 Monarch Way. You will lead the night shift, oversee daily operations, ensure-safe food handling, and deliver outstanding customer service while baking and assisting the Cookie Crew.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a customer service role, experience with POS systems, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Point of Sale (POS) systems experience.
• Strong communication, time management and people skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, patient, detail-oriented.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States; 18+.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to guests during their visit.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift and training staff when needed.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew.
• Support and work with the Cookie Crew to meet store goals.
• Provide a safe, clean working environment and adhere to food safety practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.
