Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Experience Associate at HomeGoods Shelton, CT to deliver a highly satisfied shopping experience, maintain a clean store, and uphold loss-prevention standards.

You may be cross-trained to support multiple areas, ring purchases, promote loyalty programs, and participate in safety and housekeeping tasks. Retail experience is preferred and a flexible schedule is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean store environment.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards.
• Cross-train to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
• Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change according to procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain merchandising standards and prepare merchandise for the floor.
• Participate in store recovery and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support shrink reduction goals and safety programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
