Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. operates HomeGoods and other brands, and seeks a team member to deliver a high quality customer experience in a store setting. You will engage with customers, maintain a clean and organized environment, and support operational standards in a dynamic retail environment.

You will promote credit and loyalty programs, assist in merchandising, and participate in store recovery while adapting to changing business needs and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to change.
• Ability to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising standards and prepares merchandise for the sales floor.
• Participates in store recovery and maintains cleanliness throughout the store.
• Follows labor laws, policies, and procedures and supports shrink reduction goals.
• Contributes to safety awareness and a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
