Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center is seeking an experienced Staffing Coordinator to support the Surgical Services Department with staffing, scheduling, and data reporting.

The role is part-time (24 hrs/week) with three 8-hour shifts per week, requiring availability Mondays and Fridays with a flexible third day; occasional weekend payroll close; Kronos payroll experience and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of secretarial or administrative support experience.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask.
• Experience with KRONOS Payroll and Timekeeping System.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily staffing needs under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
• Collaborate with Nurse Managers to develop departmental schedules.
• Input and manage department timesheet data entry.
• Assist leadership with data collection (time/attendance, staff usage reports).
• Coordinate new employee orientation scheduling and other projects as assigned.
• Update productivity reports and perform clerical duties.
• Other duties as assigned; Emergency Services up to 15%.
