Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities for residents. You will administer prescribed medications within scope, support nursing staff, and maintain resident safety and confidentiality.

The role requires a Med Tech and CNA license in good standing, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must pass medication observations and cart audits annually.
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified within 60 days.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Assist with activities of daily living for residents.
• Maintain policies and procedures knowledge.
• Communicate resident status and needs to nursing staff.
• Complete medication cart audits and document in EMAR/MAR.
• Assist with move-in transitions and provide emotional support.
• Attend medication trainings and in-services as required.
• Support residents with dining, activities, and emergencies.
