Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking a General Manager for a QSR inside a travel plaza on a major highway. You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive profitability, and lead a dedicated team to meet financial and performance targets.

You will recruit, train, and retain staff, ensure food quality and safety, and maintain brand standards while delivering excellent guest service. This on-site role requires flexibility, strong communication, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience as a supervisor or unit-level manager in a QSR.
• Available to work a flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours/week including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Stand and walk for extended periods; lift at least 20 pounds as needed.
• punctuality and reliability with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of the QSR to meet sales, speed, and quality targets.
• Maintain budgets, inventory, labor costs, and reporting.
• Ensure brand standards and food safety compliance.
• Foster a learning culture and recognize performance.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a strong QSR team.
• Oversee cash handling policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws at local, state, and federal levels.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues professionally.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with partners and communities.
