Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking a General Manager for a QSR inside a travel plaza on a major highway. You will oversee daily operations, lead a dedicated team, drive sales, speed of service, and maintain brand standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, inventory control, food safety, staff development, and customer satisfaction. This on‑site role requires ~50 hours/week, including nights, weekends, and holidays; ServSafe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years as a supervisor or unit‑level manager in a QSR.
• Available to work a flexible on‑site schedule ~50 hours/week including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Stand/walk for extended periods; lift/carry at least 20 pounds.
• Occasional meetings or travel to support other locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day activities of associates and managers to meet sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food quality & safety goals.
• Maintain budgets, inventory controls, labor costs, gross profit, and reporting.
• Ensure the QSR meets brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a strong team; hire, coach, train, promote, discipline or transfer staff.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues professionally and promptly to foster positive relationships.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
