Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a General Manager for a quick service restaurant inside a travel plaza on a major highway. You will lead a dedicated team, manage day-to-day operations, and drive profitability while maintaining brand standards and food quality.

The role requires 2+ years in a supervisor role in QSR, a GED or high school diploma, and a willingness to work a flexible, on-site schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of supervisor or unit-level management in QSR.
• Flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours/week including days/nights/weekends/holidays.
• Stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily QSR operations to meet sales, service speed, and food quality targets.
• Maintain budgets, inventory, food and labor costs, and profit reporting.
• Ensure brand standards and food safety compliance.
• Foster learning, development, and recognition within the team.
• Recruit, develop, and retain staff; manage coaching and promotions.
• Enforce cash handling policies and company procedures; resolve issues.
• Address customer needs and resolve complaints professionally.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities.
