Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students and schools. The role involves evaluating needs, communicating findings to parents and district staff, developing evidence-based interventions, delivering therapy, and monitoring progress to guide IEP goals.

You’ll collaborate with ARD teams, supervise assistants, and participate in meetings to advocate for students’ education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for therapy services.
• Communicate findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel with clarity and compassion.
• Develop interventions: Collaborate with ARD to create targeted, evidence-based interventions.
• Provide therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress: Maintain detailed records and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support team: Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students’ education.
