You will construct, fabricate, install and dismantle formwork for concrete, install pre-fabricated fixtures, operate carpentry tools, and maintain safety on site. This role demands accuracy, ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in carpentry.
• Under supervision, follows instructions and established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Builds wood structures such as stairs, frames, scaffolds per blueprints or instructions.
• Examines plans to determine materials and dimensions for fabrication.
• Lays out and installs partitions and cabinet work.
• Measures materials and marks cutting lines; cuts to size.
• Operates hand and power carpentry tools.
• Braces forms for concrete and anchors bolts on site.
• Erects scaffolding; installs ladders and walkways.
• Maintains safety and performs duties as required.
