Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Journeyman carpenter with documented field experience to read plans, layout formwork, and assemble wood and other forms for concrete structures. You will use hand and power tools, install scaffolding, and work safely at heights on commercial projects.

The role requires independence, attention to detail, and the ability to plan work and select proper tools according to blueprints and oral instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
• 3+ years documented field experience in carpentry or relevant craft.
• Ability to read plans and instructions and document work performed.

Responsibilities

• Builds wooden structures, stairs, scaffolds, and formwork per blueprints or oral directions.
• Interprets blueprints to determine materials and dimensions.
• Loads, transports, and lays out job materials at work site.
• Prepares form layouts using lines and grades; marks cutting lines with pencil.
