Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Jupiter seeks an Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit under the direction of the CNO/Director of Nursing.

You will coordinate discharge planning, provide patient and family education for post-hospitalization, access community resources, and may serve as Charge Nurse with ACLS if required. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS is required for Charge Nurses.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the unit.
• Plan and coordinate discharge planning and post-hospitalization teaching.
• Provide patient and family teaching and access community resources.
• Perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned or requested; ACLS certification may be required.
• Collaborate with the nursing leadership to ensure quality care.
