Job summary

PAM Health in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise care on the nursing unit, using the nursing process. You will coordinate interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.

Qualifications include active RN license in the state or compact, BLS, ACLS within 90 days (ACLS required for Charge Nurse). One year med-surg experience preferred. Staff development and leadership opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where PAM Health operates or a compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification (AHA approved) required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; required for Charge Nurses.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care using the nursing process.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Access community resources as needed.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned.
