Job summary

PAM Health in Texas is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit under nursing leadership. You will plan, coordinate, and educate patients and families, with ACLS required for charge nurses and BLS for all staff.

An active RN license in the state or compact license, plus at least 1 year of inpatient experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits, growth from within, and referral bonuses up to $3,000 per hire.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or a compact license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care.
• Plans, coordinates and provides patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• Engages in interdisciplinary planning and access to community resources.
• May perform duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.
