Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care on our medical-surgical unit. Under nursing leadership, you will coordinate care, participate in discharge planning, and educate patients and families about post-hospitalization needs.

ACLS certification is required for charges and ICU roles from day one, with BLS maintained, and an RN license in the state of Texas.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment; ACLS from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients on the nursing unit using the nursing process.
• Coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Assist with Charge Nurse duties where required and ensure ACLS where applicable.
