Job summary

Meijer is seeking a pharmacist to join our team in Michigan. You will fill prescriptions, maintain patient relationships, and lead pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge. The role requires dedication to patient education and adherence to Meijer policies.

You will work with a team to ensure high standards of care, efficiency, and accuracy, while fostering development opportunities and advancement within the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and policies.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, will be responsible for the pharmacy operations.
