Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a pharmacist to join their pharmacy team. You will fill prescriptions accurately and maintain strong relationships with patients and staff, while mentoring technicians and driving patient‑care initiatives.

The role requires immunization services, adherence to policies, and leadership in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will contribute to effective operations and high‑quality patient care at Meijer Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Licensed pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR certification required.
• Retail/Community Pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• In absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services including immunizations.
