Job summary

Meijer Rewards in Michigan seeks a licensed pharmacist dedicated to patient care and education. You will fill prescriptions accurately, maintain strong relationships with patients and staff, and uphold Meijer policies while guiding the pharmacy team.

You will educate and mentor pharmacy technicians, motivate the team, and ensure organized, compliant operations. A patient-centered vision and commitment to growth are essential.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a B.S. Pharmacy or PharmD and be licensed.
• Immunization certification is required (Indiana exemption noted).
• Experience with pharmacy systems and adherence to regulatory policies.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results and support growth of the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Competent and knowledgeable of Meijer policies and procedures.
• Effective communication skills and agent of change.
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
• Listen to the patient and resolve patient's needs.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, will be responsible for the pharmacy operations.

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy

Licensed Pharmacist in state of practice

Certified Immunization Pharmacist
