Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to fill prescriptions accurately and lead the pharmacy team in Michigan. You will educate technicians, mentor staff, and uphold regulatory compliance while delivering excellent patient care and service.

Your role includes maintaining relationships with patients, leadership, and ensuring smooth operations in the pharmacist-in-charge absence. Immunizations and clinical services may be performed where permitted.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and active license in the practice state.
• Immunization certification (where required) and knowledge of regulations.
• Familiarity with pharmacy systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients and team.
• Hold technicians accountable and mentor them for growth.
• Motivate team and ensure Meijer Policies and procedures compliance.
• Communicate effectively and prioritize workload.
• Oversee operations in pharmacist-in-charge absence.
• Perform/oversee clinical services including immunizations where allowed.
