Qualifications

• Licensed/registered to assist in the practice of physical therapy as a PTA in state of practice.
• Available to work weekend rotations.
• CPR certification preferred or able to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and the plan of care defined by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, and safety.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses; coordinate care with the health care team.
• Instruct patient, family, and others in therapy within PTA scope.
• Provide care in home settings regardless of patient demographics.
