Woodland Manor in Elkhart, IN is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing setting. This flexible, as-needed role supports mobility, strength, balance, and independence under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

The ideal candidate has Indiana PTA licensure, graduation from an accredited PTA program, BLS certification, and excellent communication skills, clinical judgment, and a resident-centered mindset,

Qualifications

• Current Indiana licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• BLS certification.
• Excellent communication skills, clinical judgment, and a resident-centered mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with providing evidence-based physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement personalized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes or concerns with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and support residents in achieving their functional goals
• Document care accurately and maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
