Chesterton Manor in Chesterton, IN is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This flexible opportunity focuses on helping residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence while delivering patient-centered care in a supportive environment.

You will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, educate residents and caregivers, document progress, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve positive

Competenze

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Indiana.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the rehabilitation team.

Mansioni

• Assist with implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve residents' strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and strategies to support continued progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all clinical, facility, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams to support positive resident outcomes.
