Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing environment and assist in implementing Cadence programs for young children.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and licensing rules.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, respectful classroom environment for all children.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral plans.
• Support planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report accidents as required.
• Help manage and document escalated child behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Adhere to all Cadence policies and participate in required meetings and trainings.
