Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities, ensure safety, and help provide a nurturing learning environment. Under the direction of the School Director, you will assist with Cadence programs and support children with diverse needs including IEPs.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum state education and experience requirements.
• Prior early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for Teacher Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Greet children and families and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist with developmentally appropriate curriculum, Cadence programs, and IEPs as directed.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents per policy.
• Manage and report escalated child behaviors according to Cadence procedures.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
