Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking an experienced Physician to provide primary and episodic care in skilled nursing facilities. You’ll manage your own panel with flexible shifts, chart from home, and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package.

Position offers part-time continuity with potential for full-time, with strong earning potential based on productivity. Ideal for physicians who value autonomy and long-term patient relationships in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified (BC) Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Must be opted-in with Medicare.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong independent clinical judgment and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients a day, mixing long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Manage wellness visits and H&Ps, coordinate with specialists and facility staff.
• Review medications and orders, respond to acute changes, and join care conferences.
