Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a skilled nursing facility. This independent role emphasizes continuity — you’ll manage your own panel and build long-term relationships with residents and families.

You will work 6-hour shifts, chart from home, and enjoy a productivity-based compensation model with potential to earn up to $624 per day. Full benefits and CME support are included.

Qualifications

• Active board certification (AGNP, FNP for NP; PA-C for PA)
• Unrestricted NP or PA license in the state
• Master's degree required for NP or PA credentialing
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
• Strong independent clinical judgment in fast-paced settings

Responsibilities

• See 16–20 patients per day, including wellness visits and acute issues
• Manage chronic and comorbid conditions and med reviews
• Coordinate with physicians, specialists and facility staff
• Engage with families and participate in care conferences
