Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking an experienced physician to join our clinical team full time, providing primary and episodic care to residents in skilled nursing facilities.

This independent role focuses on continuity of care, with you managing your own panel and building long-term relationships with patients and their families. The day-to-day includes seeing 16–25 patients daily, including wellness visits and acute issues, with a flexible 6-hour shift schedule,

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (or equivalent).
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Must be opted-in with Medicare.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients per day in long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Manage annual wellness visits and H&Ps, chronic and co-morbid conditions, and coordinate with specialists and facility staff.
• Review meds, orders, and participate in care conferences with families.

Education
