Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks an experienced, autonomous Physician to join our clinical team full time, providing primary and episodic care to residents in skilled nursing facilities.

You will manage your own panel and build lasting relationships with patients and families. You will see roughly 16–25 patients daily, performing wellness visits and managing chronic conditions, while charting from home with our modern EHR.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (or equivalent).
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Must be opted-in with Medicare.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong independent clinical judgment and ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients a day, mix of long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Conduct annual wellness visits and H&Ps, manage chronic and co-morbid conditions.
• Respond to acute changes, review meds and orders, coordinate with collaborating specialists and facility staff.
• Join care conferences with families where it makes sense.
