Job summary

AmeriPharma is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in home infusion therapy to join our team. This role combines infusion therapy and patient education, providing both in-home care and support for patients receiving treatments such as TPN, IVIG, and IV biologics.

The RN will provide telephone and in-person advice and education, making clinical decisions under supervision to ensure quality and adherence.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with current state license.
• 2+ years in home infusion and infusion centers.
• Experience with IVIG and IV biologics; CRNI preferred.
• Experience with peripheral IV starts and phlebotomy for adult and pediatric patients.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; accurate records.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home infusion therapy visits per plan of care.
• Document nursing notes and patient interventions.
• Educate patients by phone and in person on therapy protocols.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare team to optimize care.
• Assess patient progress and update care plans as needed.
• Coordinate discharge planning and family communication.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and document findings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
