YAI - Seeing beyond disability in Westchester County is seeking a compassionate Per Diem/Floater Direct Support Professional to support adults with I/DD. The role offers a flexible, part-time schedule and opportunities to gain hands-on experience while delivering meaningful community-based care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to meet essential physical demands including lifting, standing, walking.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in maximizing strengths, interests, and abilities.
• Provide supervision and care of individuals at all times, including safety protocols.
• Follow person-centered plans and behavior support plans, and document progress.
• Assist with ADLs, medication administration as prescribed, and transportation as needed.
• Participate in training and certifications as required by the program.
