Job summary

YAI - Seeing beyond disability seeks compassionate direct support professionals to assist individuals with I/DD. You will promote independence, assist with ADLs, monitor health and safety, document progress, and collaborate with the care team to implement person-centered plans.

Weekend availability is required (Sat-Sun 7am-3pm). A high school diploma is required along with a valid driver's license; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Must meet age and education requirements.
• Must hold a valid driver's license with permitted points.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care.
• Provide emotional support and build positive relationships.
• Monitor health, safety, and behavior; follow BSP/ISP.
• Document services and communicate with the care team.
