Job summary

YAI - Seeing beyond disability is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work with individuals with I/DD in North Riverdale, Bronx and various settings. Positions include full-time and part-time schedules, with mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts, to support independence and community integration.

DSPs provide personal care, learn and implement Behavior Support Plans, and maintain accurate documentation in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to meet essential physical demands.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document services.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with ADLs and personal care.
• Provide supervision, safety, and crisis response per plans.
• Record data, progress notes, and maintain documentation.
• Transport individuals for activities and appointments when needed.
