Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – FLEX in Chicago, IL. The role offers flexible, reliable hours with anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $18.50 per hour, with a schedule that includes DayTime shifts and a six-month base commitment at a designated site. The position emphasizes customer service to tenants and staff, incident response, and regular patrol duties across retail areas and perimeters.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff while following site procedures and emergency responses.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail areas, parking, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report hazards or issues per site policies.
• Document patrols and incidents and communicate information to site management and leadership.
