Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol Mobility in Chicago, IL. The position offers flexible, dependable hours designed to supplement income or build toward a full‑time career in a leading security and facility services company.

Pay rate is $22.74 per hour with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform. Candidates must meet minimum requirements and pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• A valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while following site procedures and campus protocols.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner per campus protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and surrounding property to identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear incident reports and maintain communications with supervisors and campus personnel.
