Allied Universal in Chicago, IL seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Management to provide dependable hours at a designated site and offer flexibility to earn more via extra shifts.

The role focuses on customer service to tenants and staff, access control, and incident response, with fixed anchor shifts and optional pick-up shifts across multiple sites. Compensation is $19.75 per hour, with a schedule including DayTime and Night shifts.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Age requirements: minimum 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening are required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff by following site security procedures and access policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue/collect access passes, and maintain logs.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents and emergencies and notify appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of the office areas and perimeter to identify security concerns.
• Maintain a professional lobby presence and document daily activities and observations.
