Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Verification in Durham, NC. This flexible, dependable position provides reliable hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $19.62 per hour. The schedule includes a fixed anchor shift and access to our Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, allowing you to work additional shifts across sites as it fits your life.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, notifying appropriate contacts and emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, documenting incidents and anomalies.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain logs, and communicate information to leadership and site personnel.
