Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Authorization in Durham, NC. This role provides reliable, fixed hours at a dedicated site with the option to pick-up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, boosting earnings. The position supports a flexible part-time schedule with a base shift and opportunities to scale up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate contacts or responders as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and loading docks to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities and observations per Allied Universal procedures.
