Job summary

Allied Universal in Whitsett, NC seeks a part-time Security Officer Enhanced with flexible hours. You’ll work fixed anchor shifts at a designated site and may pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $16.48 per hour. The role includes a six-month fixed shift commitment and opportunities to grow toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns with calm, professional reporting.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of office areas, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management per site requirements.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and shift handoff communications.
