Job summary

Portfolio Resident Service in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to join our mission of improving residents' quality of life in affordable housing communities.

The role provides CORES certified resident services, developing activities, resources, and volunteer engagement; ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and community-minded. Typical schedule is 1-5pm, four days per week, with occasional evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to work 4 days per week; schedule 1-5pm (Mon-Fri)
• Experience in education, social work, nonprofit or related field; volunteer experience considered
• Experience with children, teens, adults or seniors in various capacities
• Strong organizational, computer, and administrative skills
• Effective written and oral communication, and familiarity with community resources

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, inviting atmosphere; serve as initial contact to the community center
• Prepare monthly reports based on calendars, sign-in, and contracted hours
• Design/post monthly calendars and flyers; distribute on-site
• Oversee programs, recruit volunteers, solicit donations; work with partners
• Maintain sign-in sheets and log communications with volunteers and partners
• Communicate resident needs to staff and facilitate addressing them proactively
