Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays work is expected.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to potential bloodborne pathogen exposure.
• 1+ years of customer or patient-facing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and prepare donor charts, maintaining accurate records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and maintain donor records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest changes to center procedures.
