Job summary

BioLife Plasma Center in Lewisville, TX is seeking a part-time phlebotomist and donor screener. Shifts are typically 4–6 hours per day, 3+ days per week, with a requirement to work weekends and holidays. Paid training is provided to start.

You will greet donors, screen and monitor vital signs, perform finger sticks, document donor information, and assist with donor compensation. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasionally up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and answer phones while focusing on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and maintain donor charts and compensation records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support center operations.
• Work a varied schedule including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
