Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide expert OT services in patients' homes in Salem, Oregon. You will work under physician-approved plans of care, ensuring safe and effective therapy and thorough documentation.

Required is an ACOTE-accredited OT education, state licensure, and NBCOT eligibility. At least one year of OT experience is preferred, with mentoring available if less than 1 year. Comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy (state)
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OT program
• NBCOT exam eligibility or completed
• Minimum 1 year OT experience, mentoring if less

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services under physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plans address identified problems and document rationale.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of therapy delivery.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
