Job summary

Amedisys Home Health in the United States seeks a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide home-based OT services under physician-approved plans of care. You will ensure safety, document thoroughly, and deliver effective therapy in patients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of assignment.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Eligible to take or having completed the NBCOT certification.
• One year related occupational therapy experience or approval from regional leaders with mentoring program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services under a physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure the plan of care addresses all identified problems.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
