Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for days to support home health patients in the U.S. You will provide OT services per physician-approved plans, ensure safety and effectiveness, and document work while supervising aides as needed.

Eligible candidates have an OT license in the state, ACOTE accreditation, NBCOT certification, CPR, and at least one year of OT experience. Amedisys offers comprehensive benefits and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• ACOTE-accredited OT program graduate.
• NBCOT entry-level certification or completed.
• One year related OT experience; mentoring if less than 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services per physician-approved care plan.
• Ensure plan of care addresses identified problems.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT services.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN not active.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
